Alex Long started Long Migration Law with the aim of providing clear and expert migration law advice, with a focus on customer service.

Alex has over 8 years experience working in migration law, with extensive experience in skilled, employer sponsored and family visa categories. Alex started his career working primarily on Tasmanian State Nomination applications and family visas, helping countless individuals move forward on their path to permanent residency.

More recently, Alex has been focused on employer sponsorship, nomination and visa applications. Alex has worked with multinationals with complex corporate structures, as well as local businesses looking to sponsor a limited number of employees to retain staff.

Alex enjoys working on all migration law matters, ranging from partner visas to more complex matters. Some of Alex’s most notable achievements have been successful Ministerial Intervention requests, tribunal appeals, and a variety of successful labour agreement applications.

Alex primarily works from Melbourne, but is also often in Tasmania.
